BYLAWS: ARTICLE IX
DUTIES OF EXECUTIVE COMMITTEEMEN
SECTION 1. President: The President is the Chief Executive Officer of the Club, and is responsible for fulfilling the mission of the Club. He shall preside over all Regular and Executive Committee Meetings. The President shall, with the advice and consent of the Executive Committee, establish the necessary committees to administer the business and affairs of the Club. The President shall be an Ex-Officio member of all committees of the Club except the Election Committee. He shall be responsible for bringing the Bell and the Gavel to each Regular Meeting. He shall perform such other duties as required by the Bylaws. If he loses the Bell and/or Gavel he must REASONABLY reimburse any member who may upon his happening “find” said Bell and/or Gavel.
SECTION 2. First Vice-President: The First Vice-President shall preside over all meetings of the Club and its Executive Committee in the temporary absence of the President. He shall assume the office and duties of President in case of a vacancy until the next Election Meeting. He shall be the Chairman of the Membership Committee. He shall prepare the Club roster, keep adequate records of the Active Members of the Club and their attendance, send notices to those Active Members whose attendance is below that required by the Bylaws, and render to the Executive Committee, whenever requested a report on the Active Members and their attendance. The First Vice-President shall be responsible for maintaining the Past Active Roll. He shall perform such other duties as may be prescribed by the Executive Committee or required by the Bylaws.
SECTION 3. Second Vice-President: The Second Vice-President shall be in charge of and responsible for the programs and events of the Club. He shall propose and submit a budget to the Executive Committee for approval for each proposed program and event. He shall prepare and keep current a schedule of upcoming Club events and distribute such schedule to the Active Membership at each Regular Meeting. He shall perform such other duties that pertain to the office, as may be prescribed by the Executive Committee or required by the Bylaws.

SECTION 4. Secretary: It shall be the duty of the Secretary to keep a record of all proceedings of the Regular, Special and the Executive Committee meetings. He shall keep current the Club Bylaws, and document amendments to the Bylaws when they are approved by the Active Membership as prescribed. He shall prepare the regional, national, and international awards applications. He shall also perform such other duties as pertain to the office, as may be prescribed by the Executive Committee or required by the Bylaws.
SECTION 5. Treasurer: It shall be the duty of the Treasurer to collect all Member Dues, assessments and fees as may be levied by the Executive Committee. The Treasurer shall make financial reports to the membership of the Club, and to the Executive Committee on a quarterly basis or upon request. He shall maintain the Club’s bank accounts. The Treasurer shall turn over all necessary documentation regarding the Club’s accounts to his successor in office at the end of his term. He shall perform such other duties that pertain to the office, as may be prescribed by the Executive Committee or required by the Bylaws.
SECTION 6. Community Activity Officer: It shall be the duty of the Community Activity Officer to maintain contact with other Active 20-30 organizations and report such activities to the Executive Committee and Active Membership. He shall be responsible for notifying Active 20-30 International of upcoming Club events. He shall oversee the Club Internet site, and with input from the Executive Committee, maintain accurate and current information on such site, including maintaining the database of Past Active Members. He shall arrange the preparation and dissemination of news releases regarding the Club’s activities. He shall also be responsible for all internal publications of the Club. He shall plan one interactive community activity event with a children’s charitable organization each calendar quarter, which events shall be in addition to the annual Christmas Bowling and Back to School events in which the Club is involved. He shall also prepare and send out a quarterly newsletter/e-mail to Past Active Members to keep them up to date on Club events and other matters. He shall perform such other duties that pertain to the office, as may be prescribed by the Executive Committee or required by the Bylaws.
SECTION 7. Immediate Past President: It shall be the duty of the Immediate Past President to provide advice and counsel to the Executive Committee as requested by the Club President. He shall perform such other duties that pertain to the office, as may be prescribed by the Executive Committee or required by the Bylaws.

SECTION 8. Fundraising Director: It shall be the duty of the Fundraising Director to oversee and coordinate all fundraising events organized by the Club. He shall be the Chairman of the Fundraising Committee. In conjunction with the members of the Fundraising Committee, he will maintain contact and rapport with Sponsor companies and organizations, in additional to finding and incorporating new Sponsors that will provide Sponsorship funds for the Club’s charity events. The Fundraising Director shall maintain accurate and current information on Sponsors, the status of a Sponsor, all history of past Sponsorship's, and contacts within the Sponsor’s organization. The Fundraising Director shall not give Sponsorship information to anyone unless authorized to do so by a majority vote of the Executive Committee and he shall not use Sponsorship information for personal or political gain. The Fundraising Director shall turn over all necessary documentation regarding the Club’s Sponsorship's to his successor in office at the end of his term. The Fundraising Director shall make reports to the membership of the Club, and to the Executive Committee on a monthly basis or upon request. The Fundraising Director shall perform such other duties that pertain to the office, as may be prescribed by the Executive Committee or required by the Bylaws.
BYLAWS: ARTICLE XII
DUTIES OF ELECTED OFFICERS
SECTION 1. Chaplain: The Chaplain shall be responsible for providing the membership with a moment of levity at the beginning of each meeting.

SECTION 2. CINF Board: Three Active Members shall be elected to the six-member CINF board. CINF board members shall perform the duties that pertain to the office, as may be prescribed by the Executive Committee or required by the Bylaws of the CINF.

SECTION 3. Historian: The Historian shall keep a record of all-important events in the Club’s history, and shall keep current the Club’s scrapbook.

SECTION 4. Membership Committee: Six Members shall be elected to the Membership Committee. Three (3) Membership Committee members shall be elected at the April or May Election Meeting for a one (1)-year term, and three (3) shall be elected at the October or November Election Meeting for a one (1)-year term. The Membership Committee shall be responsible for conducting all hearings regarding the approval of Prospective Members, the removal of Active Members, and the removal of Executive Committeemen as prescribed in these
Bylaws. The Membership Committee shall also perform the duties that pertain to the office, as may be prescribed by the Executive Committee or required by the Bylaws.

SECTION 5. Sergeant-At-Arms: The Sergeant-At-Arms shall be responsible for maintaining general order at all meetings, and shall levy and collect fines. He shall be responsible for bringing the Club banner to each Regular Meeting. The Executive Committee may appoint a temporary Sergeant-At-Arms if he absent from any meeting.
SECTION 6. Speaker Chairman: The Speaker Chairman shall help increase awareness of the Club’s objectives by inviting community leaders to speak at Regular Meetings. He shall also introduce such guests, and be responsible for thanking them for attending in an appropriate manner.
